My first interior decorating job consisted of painting a room “Pepto” pink, rearranging furniture and adding ivory bed linens with coordinating floral window treatments. It was my bedroom and I was 12. This rather pink beginning was where my love of decorating began. A few years later, I would include designer fabrics in my redesign; painting the room sapphire blue, with Laura Ashley bed linens and wall paper border.

Through 15 years in the housing industry, as I collaborated with homebuilders, and consulted with designers and real estate professionals in my job, my love of decorating deepened. With each friend who sought my creative touch to enhance their home, the desire to use my talents blossomed. Working with me, friends fell in love with their homes all over again and found a haven.

One Pretty House Interiors was created out of a passion to turn houses into homes, and homes into sanctuaries from the craziness of a busy life. Located in Bethesda, Maryland, our decorators are certified Interior Refiners and will assist you as much or as little as you desire through consultations, full room redesigns or home staging. We are certified members of The Society of Decorating Professionals and the Interior Design Society. We’ve trained with the renowned Queen of Decorating, JoAnne Lenart-Weary and are certified in Interior Redesign, as well as One Day Staging and Decorating.

Because we are committed to creating fresh custom environments to compliment your unique style, we continuously collaborate and network with other decorators and redesigners as well as participate in continuing education courses.
